Wildfire III Memorial Parade and Service – Sunday 12th September 2021

Wildfire and the part that Queenborough played as a base for the Minesweepers during the Second World War is something that we should keep remembering.
Queenborough & District Naval Ensign Association present
The Wildfire III Memorial Parade and Service will be held this Sunday 12th September 2021 in Queenborough.
The program is as follows
13.30 Parade Muster, outside The Holy Trinity Church, High Street, Queenborough
13.45 Parade march off
14.00 Memorial Service in Queenborough Park
14.30 Parade and march pass with the salute taken outside the Guildhall.
Following this there will a reception at the Rose Inn, Queenborough
The Guildhall Museum will open on the day, managed by the Queenborough Society, which will be displaying many artefacts from Wildfire.
If we are unlucky with the weather, a service will take place in Queenborough Church.
